Chainlink Whales Hit Five-Month Peak: Holding 46.57% of Total LINK Supply

Whale transactions on the Chainlink network have climbed to a five-month high, while the amount of LINK held by large investors has also increased.

Santiment Intelligence announced that large investor movements on the Chainlink (LINK) network have significantly accelerated over the last 24 hours. Data showed that the surge in high-volume transactions was not merely a short-term transfer spike, but that large wallets have also been increasing their balances.

According to on-chain data, 246 separate LINK transactions worth over $100,000 reached the network’s highest daily level in the last five months. Santiment noted that this activity occurred alongside an increase in the total amount of LINK in large investor wallets during the same period.

LINK Whales Control 46.57% of the Supply

According to Santiment data, wallets holding between 100,000 and 10 million LINK collectively hold 466.31 million LINK. This amount corresponds to 46.57% of the total circulating supply. Thus, recent whale activity is supported not only by an increase in transaction count but also by asset accumulation by large investors.

Since the balances of this wallet group have moved closely with the LINK price in the past, these addresses are considered an important indicator that Santiment suggests tracking. Changes in the balances of large investors can provide insights into capital movements within the network.

Chainlink is also expanding in the fields of its cross-chain interoperability protocol (CCIP), tokenized assets, stablecoins, institutional data services, and new cross-chain connections. Official network metrics position Chainlink as one of the fundamental oracle infrastructures for on-chain finance applications.
