South Korean Giant Announces New Altcoin Listing: Trading Begins in July!
Bithumb, one of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the listing of a new altcoin.
According to the statement made by Bithumb, deposits and withdrawals for O1 Exchange (O) will start within 1 hour from the time of the announcement. The exchange noted that the asset can be deposited via the BASE network. Bithumb also warned investors, emphasizing that transfers outside this network are not supported.
O1 Exchange (O) will be available for trading in the South Korean Won (KRW) pair. Investors will be able to trade the O/KRW pair following the listing. Trading will commence as of July 28, 2026, at 14:00.
To ensure a secure trading environment, the exchange will apply various restrictions to trading during the first few minutes after listing. Accordingly, buy orders cannot be placed for the first 5 minutes after the start of trading. During the same period, sell orders will not be allowed at prices more than 10% below or 100% above the opening price. Additionally, only limit order types will be available for approximately 2 hours after the start of trading.
O1 Exchange (o1.exchange) is a non-custodial trading platform that offers services such as spot, futures, and prediction markets on the Base, Solana, and BNB Chain networks. Users can trade via wallet connection without moving their assets to an exchange. The platform’s native asset, the O token, is used for paying transaction fees and for staking purposes.
