Bithumb, one of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the listing of two new altcoins.
According to the announcement by Bithumb, deposits and withdrawals for MetaDAO (META2) and Global Dollar (USDG) will begin within 2 hours of the announcement time. The exchange stated that both assets can be deposited via the Solana network. Bithumb also warned investors that the supported network for USDG is designated as Solana, and transfers made via different networks are not supported.
MetaDAO (META2) and Global Dollar (USDG) will be opened for trading in South Korean Won (KRW) pairs. Investors will be able to trade in META2/KRW and USDG/KRW pairs following the listing. Trading will commence at 16:00 on August 4, 2026.
To ensure a safe trading environment, the exchange will implement various restrictions on trading during the initial minutes after the listing. Accordingly, buy orders cannot be placed for the first 5 minutes after trading begins. During the same period, sell orders will not be allowed at prices more than 10% below or 100% above the base price. Additionally, only limit orders will be available for approximately 2 hours after the start of trading.
