South Korea’s Leading Exchange Lists This Altcoin, Price Surges Over 20%!
South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has announced a listing for a new altcoin.
According to the announcement made on Upbit’s official website, Kamino Finance (KMNO) will start trading on the platform. KMNO will be listed with the Korean won (KRW) trading pair on August 7 at 1:30 PM.
Upbit stated that KMNO deposits and withdrawals can only be carried out via the Solana network. The announcement emphasized that transfers made outside the specified network will not be supported; therefore, investors must check the network before making a transaction. A warning was issued that the refund process for transfers outside the KMNO-Solana network could take a long time.
It was announced that buy orders for the asset would be restricted for the first 5 minutes after trading support begins. Additionally, only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the listing.
Furthermore, for the first 5 minutes after trading support begins, KMNO cannot be sold at levels more than 10% below the previous day’s closing price. Upbit shared that the reference price for trading restrictions was set at 0.00000028 BTC (approximately 25.31 KRW) based on closing data in the BTC market.
According to CoinGecko data, the KMNO price has increased by 20.55% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.0216 at the time of reporting.
