Upbit Announces Delisting of Another Altcoin: Price Drops 10%
Upbit announced that it will terminate trading support for an altcoin.
According to the announcement published on Upbit’s official website, Jasmy (JASMY) will be removed from the platform in the JASMY/BTC and JASMY/USDT trading pairs. Trading support will end on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM KST.
The exchange stated that it evaluated factors such as the disclosure of significant matters regarding virtual assets by Jasmy’s (JASMY) issuing or operating entity, the project’s authenticity, sustainability, and the current status of its activities. The review revealed numerous deficiencies that could lead to user harm. Based on these grounds, Upbit reported that it placed JASMY under a trading warning on July 31, 2026, and in the subsequent review, it decided to terminate trading support after determining that the reasons in question had not been resolved.
With the end of trading support, all previously placed buy and sell orders in the JASMY/BTC and JASMY/USDT pairs will be canceled in bulk. Additionally, following the announcement, it was stated that services such as airdrops, wallet upgrades, and hard forks for Jasmy (JASMY) will not be supported.
Withdrawal transactions for Jasmy (JASMY) will be supported for 30 days from the date trading support ends, until October 14, 2026. Users were warned that they must complete their withdrawal transactions before this date and that deposits of assets for which trading support has ended or incorrect transfers will not be reflected in their accounts.
