Upbit to End Trading Support for This Altcoin: Date Announced!
Upbit has announced that it will end trading support for an altcoin.
According to the statement published on Upbit’s official website, Storj (STORJ) will be removed from the platform for STORJ/KRW and STORJ/BTC trading pairs. Trading support will end on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM KST.
The exchange stated that it evaluated factors such as Storj’s disclosures on important matters, the project’s authenticity, sustainability, and actual progress. The review indicated numerous deficiencies that could lead to user harm. For these reasons, Upbit noted that it had placed Storj under a trading warning on July 28, 2026, and decided to terminate trading support after a subsequent review concluded that the issues in question had not been addressed.
Upon the termination of trading support, all previously placed buy and sell orders for STORJ/KRW and STORJ/BTC pairs will be canceled in bulk. Additionally, following the announcement, it was stated that services such as airdrops, wallet upgrades, and hard forks for Storj will no longer be supported.
Withdrawals for Storj (STORJ) will be supported for 30 days from the date trading support ends, until October 14, 2026. Users were warned to complete their withdrawals before this date, noting that if assets with terminated trading support are deposited or incorrectly transferred, the deposit cannot be credited to the account.
