Bithumb Decides to Terminate Trading: This Altcoin Surged 11%!
Bithumb has decided to terminate trading and withdrawal support for Gala (GALA).
The exchange stated that the decision was made because the issues that led to GALA being placed under a trading warning were not resolved by the explanations provided by the foundation, and the criteria for transparency and reasonableness in change processes, along with timely notification on significant matters, were not met.
Trading activities will end on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 09:00 AM UTC+3. Upon the termination of trading support, API-based transactions for GALA will be stopped, and all open trading orders will be canceled in bulk. The exchange noted that the schedule is subject to change due to internal circumstances.
Withdrawal support will conclude on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 09:00 AM UTC+3. Users are requested to complete their GALA withdrawals before this date. It was mentioned that users transferring to international crypto asset service providers or personal wallets should complete whitelist address registration in advance, as address verification may take time.
Warnings were issued that after the withdrawal support ends, technical support for mainnet updates, network forks, token distributions, and token conversions may be halted, and restrictions may be encountered during withdrawal processes.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the GALA price is currently at $0.0018780962, up 11.20% over the last 24 hours.
